Ok, these are all words or phrases that Hope can say. Well, we've probably missed some, but this is a list I've been able to come with over the past day. She's just over 19 months old now. At her 18 month well-child checkup, one of the checklist questions the doctor asked was about her talking and how many words she knew. The question asked was, "Does she know six (6) words?". So the average/standard they check for an 18 month old is if they know 6 words. Is it just me, or is she a freakin' genius?

I'm not even going to attempt to say anything...I'll just give an explanation of where this came from. You can create your own story/caption if you so choose.

I borrowed a friend's camera to take a pic of something today at the office, and got the pics off his memory card onto my computer...and this was among his pictures. Yes, maybe I'm wrong for stealing pictures, but I couldn't resist....and I tried my best to protect this poor lady from CPS tracking her down.

Valentine's Day Don'ts

I suppose this is borderline PG-13 rated, so please....cover the children's ears and such.

But it's dang funny, and I had to share.

You're either dead...or almost dead

Saturday, February 10, 2007

So over the past 2 weeks, people close to me or people close to those around me have been having a rough time. 3 dead, 1 almost dead (but doing better, thank God).

First off, my great-grandmother died 2 Sundays ago, January 28.

Second, a lady at work (my dad's partner's wife) had her favorite uncle, who she was very close to, die on the same day as my great-grandmother.

Third, another co-worker's mother died on January 31.

Lastly, another co-worker, who I work very closely with, had a heart attack almost died late this last Sunday night. Actually, he did technically die and was resuscitated and shocked back to life. He spent about 3 days in ICU, and then 2 days in a regular hospital room. And I had just spent all that week before with him getting ready for the expo we were at in Houston, and then at the expo. We even were hotel roommates in Houston. It was pretty scary and messed up for me.

I need a vacation or something to get my mind off all this morbidness. But I think we're gonna take a trip to San Antonio in March...so that will be nice.
